Dr. Suess anyone?

Today I was lazy (or should I say frugal) and didn't want to open two packages of string cheese. Nathan was enjoying his cheese bits when Joshua suddenly noticed the diminutive size of his cheese stick. He accused me of treachery, but I reassured him, in a motherly way, that it was actually a special "midget cheese." He took a tentative bite (suspicious and picky as always) and declared "I do like it! I would eat it in a boat, and I would eat it with a... wooga!" Too true, because his piece had been divided between the two of them.

Note: Wooga is what we call Nathan, because he made some pretty funny Wookie sounds just a few short months ago. He doesn't make them often any more, but the nickname stuck.

Okay that is too funny :) You know you're a good mom when your child breaks into Dr. Suess in response to a question.

HA! Joshua... the next Sam-I-Am. Actually I guess it's the other guy who's name is never revealed.

Partly it was funny because we often use the book to try unsuccessfully to convince him to eat things. We both knew darn well he loves string cheese.
