May in a thousand words
I didn't actually take that many pictures in May, so they'll be big enough to see (though you can still click to enlarge). I'll probably get caught up eventually, but for now, here's the scoop:
What I've learned this week
In the last week since we've been home from vacation, I've learned:
1) black widows are really as shiny, big, and black as their pictures, they make ugly (irregular) webs, and can only be killed by direct contact (no effective pesticide pre-spraying) --- flip-flops work well.
2) it is a waste of money to have stitches put in Nathan's head- he just picks the wound open as soon as they've dissolved.
3) the "working" toilet will leak through the ceiling as soon as you think you've got all the plumbing work done.
4) a little boy will eventually learn to ride and enjoy his bicycle, even if it takes until after he's seven.
5) I am a messy painter, either that or I've got some sort of dreaded spotty disease.
6) The air conditioner works great!
7) Primary is much nicer after a three-week break.
