Temple Trip

For the final activity of the year, the primary hosted a special program with refreshments at the Oakland Temple.  We decided to go to the activity and enjoy the Christmas light display at the temple.  We were glad we went, even though we all got to bed too late.

Just the guys, I wanted to see how well the camera would take a night shot.  Turned out pretty well, I thought.

The whole family.  Gideon is in his car seat, I forgot to bring his hat, so he couldn't get out.
I discovered I need more practice with the remote and that using the edge of the water fountain will ensure that water droplets get in the picture.

The view from the balcony.  Kind of crazy to see palm trees decked out in Christmas lights, but it was beautiful all the same.

Congratulations on another baby boy!!!

I love the Oakland Temple lights. Wish my kids got to see them this year too. Glad you got to see them for us.

Hope you are feeling well post-baby.

Nice! I wish my camera was this good. Also I miss having nice tacky temple decorations. Every time we go to the Salt Lake Temple I complain. Jason is sick of hearing about Arizona...but I'm sorry their temple decorations are the best...even if they are a little over the top. Oakland, you aren't half bad either :)
